Secondary School Information

Once your child enters Year 5 it's a good idea to start thinking about secondary schools as certain applications need to be made in the autumn term of Year 6. 

Year 5 is really early enough to start going to open days but it does no harm to possibly read a bit about potential school options earlier than this.  Open evenings tend to be in the summer term and then again in September/October.  We would advise spreading out these visits and try not to leave them to the last minute as it might be very confusing, extremely tiring and you might even have missed the 11+ application form submission dates.
