'Look who's talking'

We have now held the school finals for the oracy competition. It was great to see the children having the confidence to stand up in front of the whole school and speak about their topic. Well done to all finalists.

We heard about a range of topics; oceans, Roald Dahl, fish, India, Gladiators, Daisy the dog, Lego, The Painswick Panto, Lapland, Penguins, Capybaras and even synaethesia! The rest of the school were a fantastic audience  and everyone (including the adults) learned some new facts.

After much deliberation the winners were:

Key Stage One: Annie

Lower Key Stage Two: Rosalie

Upper Key Stage Two: Phoebe

These winners will now represent The Croft at the Stoud area finals on Thursday 26th February
