Fantastic Achievement

One of our Year Six pupils, Jasper, attended an indoor athletics event in Cardiff. The event was teh Welsh Althletics Junior Open and South West Championships. He took part in two events - a 60m sprint and an 800m race. Jasper was third overall in teh competition and won the gold medal for the 800m race, where he set a new personal best and a new record for his Stroud club in the under 13 boys category. He ran this in a time of 2 minutes and 40 seconds which also places him 1st in the South West.

What an amazing achievement - we are all very proud of Jasper.
