Arctic Explorer

We had an exciting evening for parents, grandparents and various community members where Ben Saunders (Arctic explorer) came and spoke about his arctic expeditions. One expedition made them follow in the footsteps of Captain Scott and Sir Ernest Shackleton but made him and his fellow explorer the only two men on earth to have successfully completed a trip to the South Pole (and back)! 

He shared some fantastic stories and completed the evening with a question and answer session and a story about his encounter with a polar bear!
